Institute of Natural Medicine
Founded in 1968, the Institute of Natural Medicine has been a pioneer in promoting naturopathy, yoga, and holistic health in Nepal.
- In 1975, the Ministry of Health officially authorized the expansion of naturopathy services to the private sector.
By 1984, the Nepal Yoga and Nature Cure Association was established, guiding national efforts in natural health care.
In 1986–87, the Association, with endorsement from the National Planning Commission, expanded naturopathy services across Nepal.
In 1990, the First National Convention on Yoga and Nature Cure recognized naturopathy as a vital health system alongside Ayurveda, Allopathy, Homeopathy, and Unani.
